The questions everyone asks.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe a quick sting or a little warmth, similar to a pinch. Numbing cream is available, and many clients relax or even nap during their session. We check in throughout and adjust as we go.
Will it work on my skin tone and hair?
Yes. Electrolysis does not rely on pigment, so it works on every skin tone from very fair to very deep, and on every hair colour, including blonde, grey, red and fine hair that laser cannot see.
Laser did not work for me. Why would this?
Laser heats pigment and only reduces growth, so light, fine and hormonal hair often survives it. Electrolysis treats each follicle directly at the root, which is why it is the go-to for hair that laser left behind.
How long until I see results?
Treated hairs are removed during each session, and regrowth gets finer and sparser as you go. Most areas take 8 to 18 months of regular sessions to finish. At your first visit we will give you a realistic timeline for your hair and your goals.
How much will it cost overall?
Your first appointment is $100. After that, sessions are $90 for 30 minutes or $150 for 60 minutes. It depends on the area and how much hair there is, so we build your plan and pricing together at your first visit. No surprises.
I feel self-conscious about my hair.
You are in good company. Most of our clients felt the same way before their first visit. Our treatment rooms are private and calm, nothing about your hair will surprise us, and you will never be judged or rushed.
Is it safe?
Yes. Electrolysis has been used for over a century, every probe is sterile and single-use, and mild redness that fades within hours is the most common after-effect. We send you an aftercare guide after every visit.
What areas can you treat?
Almost anywhere: upper lip, chin, jawline, neck, eyebrows, underarms, bikini line, legs, fingers and toes. If hair grows there, we can treat it.
